NEW YORK–June 27, 2018– Nickelodeon today announced two key appointments in its preschool group: Sarah Landy has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Production & Development and Aghi Koh joins the team as Vice President, Production & Development. Both Landy and Koh will report to Cathy Galeota, Senior Vice President, Preschool Content, Nickelodeon Group.

In Landy’s new role as Senior Vice President of Production & Development, Nickelodeon Preschool, she will oversee the production and development of Nickelodeon’s live-action and animated preschool shows on the east coast. Based out of Nick’s New York office, she is responsible for the day-to-day development and production of series including the upcoming Blue’s Clues remake and Butterbean’s Café, and oversees the recruitment of artists and writers.


Sarah Landy, Senior Vice President, Production & Development, Nickelodeon Preschool

A 20-year Nickelodeon veteran, Landy was most recently Vice President, Production & Development, Nickelodeon Preschool, and she also served as the Executive in Charge for top-rated shows including Blaze and the Monster Machines, Bubble Guppies, The Fresh Beat Band and The Wonder Pets! Landy began her career in television as an intern at the network and quickly transitioned to assisting one of the creators of the original groundbreaking Blue’s Clues series. She later became the production and development manager for productions such as LazyTown, Jack’s Big Music Show, Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends and Curious Buddies.

Koh, based in Burbank, Calif., joins the team as Vice President of Production & Development, Nickelodeon Preschool, where she will supervise the production and development of Nickelodeon’s animated and live-action preschool series on the west coast.

Prior to joining Nickelodeon, Koh, a 10-year Universal Studios veteran, served as Vice President of Development and Production for Universal Studios Kids and Family where she was the first executive recruited to help establish the company’s foothold in original kids’ content. Throughout her career, Koh oversaw development and production for the animated TV series CURIOUS GEORGE for PBS; managed animated non-theatrical brands for Universal Studios including The Land Before Time, The Little Engine That Could and the CURIOUS GEORGE movies; and executive produced the Walt Disney feature animated movie The Princess and the Frog.
