Tongaat Student Needs Fans' Votes To Be Crowned Nickelodeon Africa's Ultimate Toy Sprint Champion

South Africa: 11-year-old Tongaat pupil Tiahna Ragoonundun is a finalist in this year’s Nickelodeon Toy Sprint with Toys “R” Us!

The grade six pupil, who attends Slamber Primary School, stands a chance to win an all-expense paid trip for herself and three family members or friends to the Nickelodeon Hotels and Resort Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The prize includes round trip airfare, five nights ‘accommodation plus US$1800 spending money. The upbeat pupil told the Phoenix Sun that she entered the toy sprint because she always wanted to take part in the toy sprint, so she went online and entered.

Her mother, Pamela Ragoonundun, said they are very proud of their daughter and they were very excited, adding that they have never been overseas and they will be over the moon if they were to win the trip to the resort. Her school is also very proud of her and they think this will be an excellent way to bring publicity to the school. Tiahna is now appealing for fans to vote for her.
