Following strong consumer demand, Entertainment One (eOne) has secured a raft of new licensing partners, as well as renewed agreements with a number of current licensees, for its number one animated preschool series, Peppa Pig, in the US and Canada!

Boasting over 70 licensees and counting, eOne has secured additional new partners and renewed licensing agreements for new merchandise across a wide range of categories for the global show.

"Peppa Pig continues to be a well-loved brand in North America. We're excited to extend our existing partnerships and cement new relationships with such an outstanding group of companies for the world’s largest market," said Joan Grasso, Vice President (VP) for licensing North America at eOne Family.

Expanded placement at mass and support from new channels continues to propel the licensing program for Entertainment One's (eOne) global preschool hit to new heights across the US and Canada. Now with more than 70 licensees and counting, the animated program is one of the top-ranked series on Nick Jr. in the US and popular among kids and families in Canada, where it airs on Treehouse TV.

Earlier this year, the show made its debut on Nick Jr. India and ramped up retail efforts in the region. In March, eOne strengthened its operations in Latin America with a number of new licensing agreements and appointing Bruna Sawada as regional territory manager for Brazil.

The bolstered agreements are part of eOne's plans to double Peppa Pig sales by 2020. Globally, the brand generates more than US$1 billion each year, and has more than 800 licensees.
