Nickelodeon USA To Start To Debut "Rabbids Invasion" Season Two From 10/11; To Premiere "The Adventures of Tintin" Movie On 10/13

ToonZone Forums member 'rockorockorocko' is reporting the exciting Nick News in a post on TZ's NickToons forum that Nickelodeon USA will start to premiere and show the brand-new second season of the networks hit CGI-animated series "Rabbids Invasion", continuing the wacky adventures of the "Raving Rabbids", on Saturday 11th October 2014 at 11:30am (ET/PT)!

"Rabbids Invasion" season two is comprised on 26 half-hour episodes (26x30').


Additionally, 'rockorockorocko' also reports that Nick USA will premiere the Nickelodeon Movies' 2011 theatrical film "The Adventures of Tintin" ("The Secret of the Unicorn") on Monday 13th October 2014 at 7:00pm (ET/PT) to celebrate Columbus Day!


The Academy Award-nominated Nickelodeon Movie "The Adventures of Tintin" follows intrepid reporter Tintin and Captain Haddock as they set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock's ancestor. The movie is a 2011 3D motion capture computer-animated epic adventure film based on "The Adventures of Tintin", the comics series by Belgian cartoonist Hergé. Directed by Steven Spielberg ("Gremlins", "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial", "Indiana Jones"), produced by Peter Jackson ("The Lord of the Rings"), and written by Steven Moffat ("Doctor Who"), Edgar Wright ("Shaun of the Dead") and Joe Cornish ("Attack the Block"), the film is based on three of Hergé's albums: "The Crab with the Golden Claws" (1941), "The Secret of the Unicorn" (1943), and "Red Rackham's Treasure" (1944). The cast includes Jamie Bell ("Billy Elliot"), Andy Serkis ("The Lord of the Rings"), Daniel Craig ("James Bond"), Nick Frost ("The Boxtrolls") and Simon Pegg ("Paul").

Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures are planning to release a sequel to their "Tintin" movie, "The Adventures of Tintin: Prisoners of the Sun" (also known as "The Adventures of Tintin: Red Rackham's Treasure"), which will see Jamie Bell and Andy Serkis reprise their roles of Tintin and Captain Haddock, respectively, in theaters in the USA on Friday 16th December 2016.
