Team PAW Patrol is about to get bigger, with the introduction of the team's first cat member, Wildcat!
Wildcat will be introduced in the upcoming new PAW Patrol theme, "Moto Pups", which will also see a new line of PAW Patrol toys featuring the PAW Patrol pups wearing their Moto gear.
Not much is currently known about the "Moto Pups" PAW Patrol theme, however, from the name of the theme and the product description for Wildcat's Moto Pups Deluxe vehicle, below, it'll incorporate motor sports.
"Hurry to the rescue with PAW Patrol's first cat member, Wildcat, and his Moto Pups Deluxe vehicle.
Wildcat's bike has authentic graphics and details, large wheels and a retract function that allows it to perform wheelies. Wildcat wears a motorcycle jacket and helmet.
When it's time for a quick mission, click Wildcat into the driver's seat, pull the vehicle back and watch him take off.
Wildcat's bike shoots forward, does a wheelie, and races straight for the adventure. Pull the vehicle back to do your own stunts and do wheelies over and over.
You can also hand drive Wildcat's Deluxe vehicle. The Moto Pups Deluxe vehicles bring the bokes of the PAW Patrol series to life. Collect them all! For even more fun with the Moto Pups, use the Moto HQ play set for the Deluxe Vehicles (sold separately). Comes in full-color box. Suitable for children from 3 years old."
Cats aren't new to the PAW Patrol franchise, as the series regularly features the Kitten Catastrophe Crew, a villainous feline faction owned and led by Mayor Humdinger. However, Wildcat is the first feline protagonist to join the PAW Patrol crew.
The news follows PAW Patrol adding its first disabled character, Rex, earlier this year as part of its "Dino Rescue" theme.
