The channel replaces Nick 2 on the EPG. Nick 2 was a commercial-free secondary channel of Nickelodeon. The channel launched in 2015 as a replacement for Nickelodeon HD when Nickelodeon started to simulcast its main channel in HD.
The news follows ViacomCBS Networks Américas launching NickMusic earlier this month. However, it seems that TeenNick Latinoamérica is locally programmed instead of using the channel's U.S. feed, like NickMusic.
TeenNick is Nickelodeon's brand exclusively for and about teens and tweens that features a distinct perspective that connects its audience to the electricity and possibilities of teendom, anytime and anywhere, with original series and ever-popular favorites. TeenNick is available in more than 71 million households via cable, digital cable and satellite as well as on mobile, VOD and broadband. The channel mainly airs live-action programming.

TeenNick llega a Latinoamérica en reemplazo de Nick 2
Durante el día de hoy, ViacomCBS lanzó en Latinoamérica el canal TeenNick como reemplazo de Nick 2, esta vez con un feed propio para la región y no un feed compartido como ocurrió con NickMusic.
Nick 2 había nacido como reemplazo para la señal HD diferida de Nickelodeon para Latinoamérica, porque en el año 2015 se lanzaron señales HD simulcast para cada feed del canal.
Se desconoce la hora a la que sucedió el cambio, pero se muestra a continuación un video de muestra grabado desde el canal.
La propuesta de TeenNick es emitir contenido para los adolescentes de hoy en día, y su programación está mayormente compuesta por series live-action.
