Life is more exciting, fun, and unpredictable with a pony, as seen in It’s Pony, Nickelodeon’s new original animated series, premiering on Nickelodeon Iberia on Monday 14th September 2020, airing daily at 15:14 on Nickelodeon Portugal and at 16:14 on Nickelodeon Spain (España). The series follows the comedic adventures of Annie and her best friend, who just so happens to be an enthusiastic, unpredictable, and carefree pony. It’s Pony is locally titled Este es Pony in Spain and É o Pónei in Portugal.
É o Pónei was previously released digitally on Nickelodeon's Nick+ streaming service in Portugal earlier this year.
The U.S.-English dub of the series stars Jessica DiCicco (Adventure Time) as Annie, an optimistic and determined farm girl living in the city with her family and best friend Pony; Josh Zuckerman (Strange Angel) as Pony, who is naïve and impulsive, but loves Annie more than anything; Abe Benrubi (E.R.) as Dad, who treats Pony as a nuisance, but recognizes the special bond he shares with Annie; and India de Beaufort (All Hail King Julien) as Mom, who loves Annie and Pony’s relationship and always has a new project in the works.
Additional cast members bringing characters to life include: Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle) as Annie’s friend Fred; Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) as Annie’s friend Brian; Rosario Dawson (Rent) as Annie’s school principal Ms. Ramiro; Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains) as the landlord Mr. Pancks; Megan Hilty (Smash) as the too-obsessed-with-Pony friend Beatrice; Yvette Nicole Brown (Drake & Josh, Victorious) as Mrs. Dunscomb; Grey Griffin (Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom, The Loud House, El Tigre, Wow Wow Wubbzy, As Told by Ginger, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Mighty B!, Rugrats, The Simpsons) as Henrietta; John DiMaggio (Sanjay and Craig, The Loud House, Futurama, Adventure Time) as Dave the Sewer Worker and Tomatopalooza Judge; and Dee Bradley Baker (SpongeBob SquarePants, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gravity Falls, Star Wars: The Clone Wars) as Dog.
Throughout the season, the series will explore the everyday life and hijinks of two best friends whose optimism and enthusiasm turn any situation from ordinary to extraordinary. Whether making an epic quest down the street to mail a letter, heroically saving the local playground with a bake sale, or simply getting a haircut, Pony and Annie always stick together because life is better as a pair.
Created by Ant Blades, It’s Pony is inspired by a short from Nickelodeon’s 2015 International Animated Shorts Program.
It’s Pony made its world debut on Nickelodeon USA on Saturday, January 18, 2020, and is currently rolling-out internationally on Nickelodeon channels worldwide. The series has been renewed for second season.

El próximo lunes 14 de septiembre a las 19:00h, el canal recibe a Annie y Pony, una pareja de amigos inseparables que llegan dispuestos a vivir cientos de aventuras juntos porque, aunque a veces no sea el mejor pony por ser el culpable de que acaben en problemas… ¡es el mejor amigo que Annie podría tener!
¡La vida siempre es más emocionante con un pony al lado! Y si no, que se lo digan a Annie, una niña que vive en una granja en la ciudad junto a sus padres y su mejor amigo, Pony. Optimista, realista y un poco competitiva, siempre está dispuesta a defender a su amigo de cualquier cosa porque, aunque a menudo acaban metidos en problemas por su culpa, ella siempre ve lo bueno en él. Pero, ¿cómo es Pony? Es un auténtico disfrutón, entusiasta y despreocupado que también haría cualquier cosa por su amiga. Para Pony, no hay nadie mejor que Annie. Y para Annie, la vida es maravillosa gracias a Pony. Y es que, hasta las situaciones más complicadas terminan siendo una aventura divertida si la viven juntos.
Los más pequeños de la casa seguirán de cerca las aventuras más divertidas de esta pareja de amigos, su día a día y, por supuesto, sus alocadas travesuras. En uno de los episodios, Annie se enfrenta a su primer partido de fútbol, pero su participación colgará de un hilo cuando Pony le pisa el pie sin querer. Otro día, el propietario de su casa prohibirá la presencia de animales, ¿conseguirán convencerle de que Pony viva ahí? Y la situación se complica aún más cuando el perro de la casa de al lado y enemigo de Pony, se muda a vivir con ellos, ¿qué hará Annie para que se lleven bien?
Además, también tendrán tiempo para ayudar a quien lo necesite. Un día, enseñarán a una gallina que llega a la ciudad aterrorizada cómo sobrevivir, a su amigo Gerry a aprobar el examen para convertirse en guía del museo e incluso salvarán la fiesta de Halloween cuando una familia de cuervos hambrientos intentan comerse la cosecha de calabazas.
