Locally titled PAW Patrol Live! – De Grote Race, Van Hoorne Entertainment will be bringing the hugely popular PAW Patrol stage show to a select number of theatres in the Netherlands and, in collaboration with Deep Bridge, Belgium from late July 2019 to early September 2019!
When Mayor Goodway goes missing during the day of the Great Adventure Bay Race, the pups come to the rescue. Join Ryder, Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, Sky and Everest for the show’s first tour in across Netherlands and Belgium! Featuring a cast of everybody’s favourite PAW Patrol characters, PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue,” shows that “no job is too big, no pup is too small,” and shares lessons for all ages about citizenship, social skills and problem-solving as the characters each use their unique skills and teamwork.
The show will feature a fully Dutch cast, and each performance will run for 75 minutes, including two acts and an intermission.
PAW Patrol Live! – De Grote Race engages audiences with Bunraku puppetry, an innovative costuming approach that brings the PAW Patrol characters to life on stage with their vehicles and packs.
“Using Bunraku, puppetry elements are built into costumes worn by real actors to create a wonderful combination of life-size pups and to make a stronger connection with the audience. The PAW Patrol cast sings and dances, which brings a fun, realistic parallel between the animated series and the live show,” says Jim Waters, producer, VStar Entertainment Group.
The performance features up-tempo music and a brand new cleverly written script that is a good introduction to live theatre for kids. Classic theatrical scenery along with a high-tech video wall visually transports families to an authentic PAW Patrol environment, including locations from the TV series, like Adventure Bay, The Lookout, Seal Island, Farmer Yumi's farm and Jake's Mountain.
Special interactive video allows the audience to participate via interviews, solve clues with the Pups, follow Mayor Goodway and much more.

Spectaculair, groots en meeslepend; de succesvolle, internationale theatervoorstelling‘PAW Patrol Live! – De Grote Race’ komt in de zomer van 2019 exclusief naar Nederland en België. Van Hoorne Entertainment brengt de enorm populaire Pups, bekend van Nick Jr., van eind juli tot begin september 2019 naar een selectief aantal grote theaters in Nederland en, in samenwerking met Deep Bridge, in België.
Klaar voor actie?! Na het grote succes van de pre-school serie PAW Patrol op tv kan het niet uitblijven: voor de allereerste keer staan de ongekend populaire PAW Patrol Pups in de Nederlandse en Belgische theaters. In de spectaculaire familieshow ‘PAW Patrol Live! – De Grote Race’ nemen de heldhaftige Pups het publiek mee op een spannend, muzikaal avontuur.

Het verhaal In ‘PAW Patrol Live! – De Grote Race’ is de dag van de Grote Race in Avonturenbaai aangebroken! Het wordt een spannende strijd tussen burgemeester Goodway en burgemeester Humdinger. Terwijl de sluwe burgemeester Humdinger klaar staat om te starten, blijkt burgemeester Goodway plots spoorloos te zijn verdwenen. Snel roept Ryder de hulp in van Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma en Everest. Kunnen zij burgemeester Goodway op tijd vinden?
Geen klus te groot, geen pup te klein… Deze unieke voorstelling boordevol avontuurlijke actie, energieke liedjes en hilarische humor is geschikt voor de hele familie én een mooie eerste kennismaking voor kinderen met live-theater. Net als in de tv-serie zullen ook in deze show belangrijke sociale vaardigheden, zoals samenwerken en problemen oplossen, aan bod komen door het teamwork en de unieke vaardigheden van de zeven Pups.
PAW Patrol is niets te dol! Dus komen een aantal pups na de show nog naar de foyer van het theater om met de kleine theaterbezoekers op de foto te gaan.
