Nickelodeon is concerned about the health, well-being and development of children. Dzień Zabawy 2018 aims to remind everyone how important outdoor exercise is, and how having fun outdoors and being in touch with nature nurtures better physical, emotional and cognitive development in children.
On Saturday 25th August 2018, Nickelodeon will go dark on-air and online between 12:00-16:00 to encourage children across Poland to go outside and play, whether in a garden, in a park or at a playground.
To celebrate kids' love of play, Nickelodeon will hold a special Fun Day (Dnia Zabawy) at Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego Józefa Piłsudskiego w Warszawie (AWF WARSZAWA) starting at 14:30. The event will feature a mini-marathon, obstacle courses, SpongeBob's Pineapple house, a Slime Experience Park, and meet and greets with popular Nickelodeon characters, such as Dora the Explorer, the pups from Paw Patrol, SpongeBob Kanciastoporty and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Wojownicze Żółwie Ninja)!
The event will also feature many different zones, each filled with lots of fun activities for kids. Zones will include: A Rusty Rivets (Rafcio Śrubka) zone by Spin Master, in which kids can upcycle materials to make new objects, such as a wooden toolbox, wooden photo frame, and a eco-bird feeder, inspired by the 'maker movement' theme featured in the hit Nick Jr. show; A My Fairy Garden zone, in which kids can prepare cuttings which they can take home and grow into fabulous gardens. The zone will also feature a junior zone, in which children will have the opportunity to play with a John Deere tractor with monster treads and a Johnny Tractor - both of which will offer kids challenges for kids to take part in. The My Fairy Garden zone will also feature a special competition in which fans can win fantastic toys; a Xbox zone, in which kids can play awesome video games; and a special Snow Zone by Glibbi and Smoby, in which kids can play in a giant snow globe and throw snowballs - in the middle of summer! There'll also be a AM:PM zone, featuring a interactive wall with a reflex game. There'll also be colouring books, and a tent, in which attendees can relax on AM:PM chairs. AM:PM specialists will also be on hand to help kids choose the perfect watch, and there'll be plenty of chances to win AM:PM watches; and a Piccolo zone, in which a DJ will lead music workshops! Each student be able to create their own remix, and a artist will be on hand to make balloon animals. There'll also be a photo booth, where attendees will be able to strike poses using many funny gadgets on-hand, and a competition to win awesome prizes!
Year after year, Dzień Zabawy gets more and more popular. In 2016, 12,000 kids and parents attended, with over 2,000 kids taking part in the mini-marathon, each receiving a special award and diploma.

Dzień Zabawy Nickelodeon z koncertem Dawida Kwiatkowskiego
W sobotę 25 sierpnia br. stacja Nickelodeon po raz szósty zorganizuje w Warszawie Dzień Zabawy Nickelodeon - wydarzenie dla rodzin z dziećmi.
Dla uczestników tegorocznej edycji Dnia Zabawy Nickelodeon przygotowano gry zręcznościowe i konkursy z nagrodami. Nie zabraknie atrakcji sportowych, w tym Minimaratonu. Rozgrzewkę przed Minimaratonem poprowadzi reprezentant Polski w siatkówce Marcin Prus. Finałem wydarzenia będzie koncert Dawida Kwiatkowskiego.
Wydarzenie odbędzie się 25 sierpnia br. na terenie Akademii Wychowania Fizycznego przy ul. Marymonckiej 34 w Warszawie, w godz. 11.00 - 17.00. Wstęp na Dzień Zabawy Nickelodeon jest bezpłatny. Głównym partnerem wydarzenia jest Cyfrowy Polsat.
