The Shib Sibs Test Out Their Coordination Off The Ice On The 'Double Dare' Obstacle Course At VidCon 2018

You’ve seen the Shib sibs on the ice, but now it’s time to test their coordination off the ice. They teamed with Young Hollywood for a exciting Double Dare challenge at VidCon.

Alex and Maia Shibutani are adored by fans and are now Olympic bronze medal holders for Ice Dancing. Just what is their coordination like off the ice, though? Well, they teamed up with Young Hollywood to show just what they could do in Nickelodeon’s iconic Double Dare obstacle course at VidCon. Here’s the aweslime video of the Shib sibs taking on the course.

It’s all just a bit of fun–and definitely not as nerve-wracking as the Olympics, according to Maia! Both team off against each other to collect the flags and complete the course as fast as possible. Just who will win and which obstacle ironically thwarts both of them?

In this fantastic video, you can see the full course and watch both the siblings take part. Yes, you’ll get all the way to the end to find out who wins. Maia takes the course first, possibly with an advantage due to being shorter–you’ll see why Alex believes so when you take just one look at a certain icy obstacle. Alex then takes it on, seeing how his sister handled it the first time.

The great thing is the two go all out. You can see their close bond, which makes their Ice Dancing partnership work perfectly. However, you also see their competitive streak, making it clear why they are awesome Olympians.

Check out the footage from Young Hollywood below.
