Rob Gronkowski To Film New Episodes Of "Crashletes" During Early 2018 *Updated*

The Associated Press is reporting the exciting news that Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski has revealed that he plans to tape more brand-new episodes of Crashletes, Nickelodeon's brand-new viral sports clip series, during early 2018!:

Update (Tuesday, January 9, 2018): Nicktoons USA's NickSports TV programming block is slated to premiere Crashletes season three in February 2018!

"Gronkowski said he still planned to tape episodes early next year of the Nickelodeon series 'Crashletes.' Gronkowski hosts the show that features highlights from fails in sports. Tony Hawk, Von Miller, Andre Drummond and Nick Young have all taped guest spots with Gronk on 'Crashletes.'

'I love doing it,' he said. 'It's pretty easy, especially when it's for the kids. We keep it super PG and just kind of be silly. Wherever I go, kids tell me they watch the show, 'Crashletes,' which is great.'"

Crashletes is a celebration of the 99 percent who will never go pro, but who give it their all anyway... and fail miserably! Hosted by New England Patriots Super Bowl XLIX Champion and Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski, with co-hosts Stevie Nelson and Brandon Broady, Crashletes features amateur athletes, wannabe athletes, animal athletes, and those who don't even resemble anything close to an athlete in the craziest, funniest and most outrageous sports bloopers, blunders and absurdities from around the world. As host, Gronkowski will offer funny commentary on the clips, alongside his co-hosts and guest stars, including his family! The show will feature between 40-50 epic fails per episode. So kids from tall to small will get to enjoy all the fails they love with Gronk and his hilarious co-hosts. The series is produced by Rob Dyrdek and Shane Nickerson of Superjacket Productions (Fantasy Factory, Ridiculousness).

In each episode, Gronkowski and co-hosts Stevie Nelson and Brandon Broady provide in-depth analysis of viral sports bloopers, blunders and absurdities. These clips are compiled into Crashlete categories such as "Tree-jected," when Mother Nature stands in the way of a perfect play, "So Proudly We Fail," a tribute to those who cannot remember the words to the Star-Spangled Banner, "Animal Interference," when a penalty is caused by an animal intrusion, and more.

Fans can find out more about Crashletes, as well as watch exclusive videos from the series, including full-length episodes, and play the "Crashletes: Hands On!" game online at www.nick.com/crashletes and on the Nick App!
