Gold Ranger And Ninja Mode Gear Lead Off New Bandai's "Power Rangers Ninja Steel" Toys

Bandai is kicking off the second half of Power Rangers Ninja Steel with a raft of brand-new toys, including the debut of the Gold Ranger's Bull Rider Megazord!


The show is slated to return stateside on Nickelodeon in August, and fans can get their hands on the new figures starting in the fall. The Gold Ranger is a big part of the season's second half and is heavily featured in the new toys as well, including a DX figure, a Ninja Training Gear figure, a 12-inch figure, and the Bull Rider Megazord.

The aforementioned Ninja Training Gear is a new mode for the Rangers, putting them in sleek black suits with their Ranger colors as the only accent. They'll also receive new weapons and villains, including Madame Odius and Skullgator.

On the Zord front, the Astro Megazord will also be featured alongside the Bull Rider Megazord. Both are dwarfed by the Lion Fire Fortress Zord, which includes a number of stations for the Rangers to operate as well as a jail cell for the villains. It also includes a separate battle mode.

There will also be separate Training Gear for the Rangers, and fans of the recent Power Rangers movie can also pick up a Super Morphin Yellow Ranger.

In Power Rangers Ninja Steel, the 24th season of the iconic Power Rangers franchise, Galvanax, the evil champion of the intergalactic game show, Galaxy Warriors, is sending his best warrior contestants to Earth to steal the mythical Ninja Power Stars made of ninja steel so he can rule the universe! To stop him and his warriors, a new team of five heroic teens has formed. With teamwork and great strength, the NINJA STEEL POWER RANGERS: Brody (Red), Preston (Blue), Hayley (White), Calvin (Yellow), and Sarah (Pink) unite to eliminate the threat using new Ninja Powers, powerful weapons, and awesome Megazords made from legendary Ninja Steel. Each epic battle against the Power Rangers is broadcast throughout the universe. Together, the Power Rangers fight an epic battle to save the galaxy from destruction!


The series will be based on Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, Toei's 39th ninja-themed Super Sentai special effects series in Japan.

Following Power Rangers Ninja Steel, Nick USA is slated to debut Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, which will the Ninja Steel Power Rangers into the second half of their journey, during early 2018.


Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel is also expected to be a grand celebration of Power Rangers history as the iconic franchise hits its silver anniversary, with guest appearances of the most popular past Rangers. Exact details on the 25th anniversary are still to follow, although the source footage for Ninja Steel does include appearances from the Yellow Mystic Force Ranger, the Red Alien Ranger, the Red Ninja Storm Ranger, and the Green Samurai Ranger from Ninja Storm. Other seasons actors have been seen hanging out with the Ninja Steel cast, including Milo Cawthorne from Power Rangers RPM.


Power Rangers Ninja Steel stars Brody Romero (Red Ninja Steel Ranger), Calvin Maxwell (Yellow Ninja Steel Ranger), Chrystiane Lopes (Pink Ninja Steel Ranger), Hayley Roster (White Ninja Steel Ranger), Jordi Webber (Gold Ninja Steel Ranger), Caleb Bendit (Monty), Kelson Henderson (Mick Kanic), and Chris Sean Reid (Victor Vincent).
