Nickelodeon Latin America And Nickelodeon Brazil To Premiere "Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" On Saturday 6th May 2017

Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo return in Nickelodeon’s season five anthology series, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, premiering Saturday 6th May 2017 on Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica) and Nickelodeon Brazil (Brasil)!

Nickelodeon Latinoamérica will premiere each brand-new episode of the fifth season (quinta temporada) of Las Tortugas Ninjas every Saturday at 09h30 on Nickelodeon Colombia (Col.), 10h30 on Nickelodeon Venezuela (Ven.), 11h30 on Nickelodeon Mexico (Méx.), and at 13h30 on Nickelodeon Argentina (Arg.), and Nickelodeon Brasil will premiere each brand-new episode of Tartarugas Ninja season five every Saturday at 11h30.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles captures seven distinct stories from the hero brothers’ past and future, including their early days in New York City, encounters with villains and friends, and a peek into their distant, but wild future. Throughout the season, fans can expect to see both new and familiar friends and foes as each tale unfolds.

In the premiere episode, "Scroll of the Demodragon," Kavaxas, a hotheaded dragon man with mystical powers, partners with some of the Turtles' worst foes to bring chaos to New York City. In the episode, the Turtles believe they have defeated their old enemies, but they soon discover a new evil is rising. Hamill lends his voice as the villainous Kavaxas during the next three premiere episodes. In the North American dub of the episode arc, Kavaxas is voiced by Mark Hamill (Star Wars).

Additional season five guest stars include: Chris Sarandon (The Princess Bride) as Count Vlad Dracula, the lord of the vampires; Graham McTavish (The Hobbit trilogy) as Savanti Romero, an evil time master from the future; Dana DeLorenzo (Ash vs. Evil Dead) as Esmeralda, a kind and weary Romanian traveler with an expert knowledge of monsters; Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Revenge) as Sumo Kuma, a fierce and cunning Samurai commander; and Nyambi Nyambi (Mike & Molly) as Verminator Rex, the vicious leader of a gang.

Considered one of the most popular kids’ television programs of the 1980s, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a classic, global property created in 1984 by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. It first debuted as a successful comic book series and then became a hit animated TV show, a live-action television series and later spawned numerous blockbuster theatrical releases. Since its launch in 2012, Nickelodeon’s all-new CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has re-energized these iconic characters of this wildly popular franchise. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is seen in over 170 countries and territories and translated in 45+ languages.

Produced at Nickelodeon Studios in Burbank, California, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is executive produced by Ciro Nieli and Brandon Auman.
