Lizzy Greene, Rosa Blasi, Greg Cipes And Debi Derryberry To Attend Kid Kon 2017

Kid Kon, California's only comic con for kids, debuts June 10-11th, at the Pasadena Convention Center! Kick off your summer vacation with the event that will become a rite of passage for young geeks-in-training. This thrilling inaugural year features a ton of unique and exciting experiences like Jedi training, laser tag, kid's yoga classes, arts & crafts, interactive panels, an expansive vendors room with plenty of goodies for sale, and free concerts!


"My wife and I are fans of just about everything," says Kid Kon creator Jose Prendes. "We've raised our kids to appreciate pop culture and so we all spend a lot of time at conventions together as a family, and were shocked to find that there wasn't an event that catered to kid-friendly pop culture, so we decided to put one together ourselves and give the young fans out there a comic con of their very own."


On Saturday, June 10th, fans can meet Lizzy Greene, who plays Dawn Harper on Nickelodeon's hit comedy series Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn; Rosa Blasi, who portrays Barb Thunderman on Nick's hit sitcom The Thundermans; Carla Perez and Jason Ybarra from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers; and Bex Taylor-Klaus, Audrey from MTV's Scream: The TV Series. On Sunday, meet Greg Cipes, who is the voice of Michelangelo Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and Beast Boy from Teen Titans Go!; and Debi Derryberry, who is the voice of Draculaura from Monster High, and has voiced many characters on beloved Nick shows, including AAAHH!!! Real Monsters, Oh Yeah! Cartoons, CatDog, Rocket Power, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, ChalkZone, and Random! Cartoons. Debi also provided the voice of titular character on the hit Nickelodeon Movie Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, and also appeared in three episodes of Nickelodeon's iconic live-action comedy series iCarly). The Southland Ghostbusters will also be making an appearance!


Children under three years of age are free! Kids 3 and up (and their parents) can get weekend passes online now for $25; they will be $35 on the day of at the convention center. Saturday or Sunday only tickets are $15 online right now, or $20 on the day of. First 500 people through the door get a special surprise!
