Burbank, Calif.–April 10, 2017–Nickelodeon has partnered with Mattel and Climax Studios to launch View-Master® TMNT VR, a brand-new virtual reality app that puts kids in the center of the action alongside Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo. Bringing the unique style of the Nickelodeon CG-animated television series to life in a whole new way, the View-Master® TMNT VR, platform is targeted to kids ages 7+ and is compatible with Google Cardboard and View-Master® VR Viewers. View-Master® TMNT VR Experience Pack is available now in the U.S. on the App Store and Google Play.
In View-Master® TMNT VR, there’s something afoot in New York City and it’s up to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to find out what’s going on and put a stop to it. The free demo app experience allows players to interact with and explore the sewer lair, and chill with Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo.
Fans can unlock the full VR experience available for purchase as an upgrade within the app. The additional features in the upgrade include:
* Train with Splinter in the dojo to learn the Turtles’ unique moves.
* Go on missions throughout New York City to learn more about the secret plot and stop Shredder from taking over the city.
* Visit fan favorite special locations including: Chinatown, Antonio’s Pizzeria, Coney Island and more to play mini-games and unlock special objects from the show.
* Three levels of difficulty, making each mission unique and fun to play again and again.
To complete the full Turtles VR experience, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™ View-Master® VR Viewer Pack is now available and includes a TMNT-branded View-Master® VR Viewer with four interchangeable shields featuring each Turtle’s mask color. This special pack also comes with a TMNT View-Master® reel and QR code to unlock the full VR app experience, and retails for $49.99. Also now available, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™ View-Master® Experience Pack includes the reel and QR code to unlock the full VR app experience, and retails for $12.99.
