Marc Summers In Negotiations To Bring Back "Double Dare" In "Some Form Or Fashion"

Marc Summers has revealed the very exciting news to the Miami New Times that following Nickelodeon's hit The Double Dare Reunion Special last Thanksgiving, in which original host Marc, announcer John Harvey, and right-hand woman Robin Russo reunited to play a very special game of Double Dare with the cast of All That to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Nickelodeon's iconic game show, he is currently in negotiations right now to bring back Double Dare back in some form or fashion!:

Miami New Times: Are you bringing back Double Dare?
Marc Summers: We did the 30th-anniversary show the night before Thanksgiving, and it just killed in the ratings. I'm in negotiations right now to bring Double Dare back in some form or fashion. I'm not allowed to talk about it just yet. That is a big possibility that after 16 years of not being at Nickelodeon, I will be back throwing green liquids at kids, and not just kids, maybe adults.

The possible return of Double Dare follows Nickelodeon's recent announcements of Nickelodeon bringing back its library content for today's audiences. Upcoming projects include Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie, a new, original TV movie set to premiere during Thanksgiving 2017 that will feature a storyline picking up from where the original series ended in 2004, resolving unanswered questions and plotlines, including Arnold finally getting answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents, and a brand-new Rocko's Modern Life TV movie that will see Rocko, Filburt and Heffer having to deal with Modern Life in 2016, 2017 and 2018!
