Nickelodeon Netherlands To Resume Broadcasting 24/7 On Ziggo From Monday 12th December 2016

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Northern Europe has announced the exciting news that, following a short break, Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland) will resume broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the Ziggo cable television service from Monday 12th December 2016!

Nickelodeon Nederland has previously broadcast as a 24/7 service, most recently up until Thursday 1st October 2015, when Viacom launched Nickelodeon's sister channel, Spike Netherlands & Flanders, which time-shares with Nickelodeon, airing nightly between 21:00 to 2:30 on Nickelodeon, replacing Nickelodeon's TeenNick programming block.

Viacom will launch Spike as a 24-hour channel on the Ziggo cable platform on Monday 12th December 2016, allowing Nickelodeon to expand its broadcast hours again on Ziggo. Both channels will broadcast in HD.

However, Nickelodeon and Spike will continue to timeshare channel on other television services.

Additionally, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central Family will be moving to different numbers on the Ziggo EPG following the launch of Spike on Monday 12th December 2016. Spike will launch on channel 16, which Nickelodeon currently broadcasts on. Following Spike's launch, Nickelodeon will move to channel 29, which CC Family currently broadcasts on, and Comedy Central Family will move to channel 127.
