Nickelodeon Films Pilot In The UK For Potential Brand-New Show "Diary of a Snob"

Nickelodeon has filmed a pilot for a potential brand-new series called "Diary of a Snob", based on the tenth and eleventh books from columnist, author and broadcaster Grace Dent!


Not much information is currently known about "Diary of a Snob", however, the pilot was filmed in the UK and was produced by Buccaneer Media for Nickelodeon and directed by Dominic Brigstocke ("I'm Alan Partridge", "Smack the Pony"), with Charles Harrison serving as Producer, Susannah Binding as Script Supervisor, Helen Woolfenden as Costume Designer and Tim Dickel as Production Designer. Not much information is currently known about the cast, but actor Vauxhall Jermaine plays a juggler in the pilot.

It is also currently unknown whether the pilot was commissioned by Nickelodeon UK for local audiences, such as "Renford Rejects", "Genie in the House" and "Summer In Transylvania", or Nickelodeon USA for a global audience, such as "House of Anubis".

Although is currently not known whether Nickelodeon has commissioned a full series of "Diary of A Snob", it is expected to be available for distribution by

Nickelodeon acquired the TV development rights to the book "Diary of a Snob" in 2011.

Buccaneer Media is a London-based production company created by TV drama producer Tony Wood, an executive producer on "House of Anubis", and Canada's Cineflix Media.
