"Sam & Cat" Placed On "Permanent Hiatus"

The entertainment news website Deadline.com is reporting the unfortunate news in the following article that production of Nickelodeon's hit original comedy series "Sam & Cat" has now come to a halt, with the show being put on a "permanent hiatus" a few episodes early, with everyone on the crew let go, except for those working in post-production (the staff who edit each episode together to be broadcast on-air).

As previously reported, "Sam & Cat" was due to go on scheduled temporary hiatus next week, with production on Season 2 penciled in for later this year.

The continuing behind-the-scenes drama and tension is thought to be the cause of shut-down, with emotions running high and the shows stars, Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande, said to be sometimes arriving late:
UPDATE, WEDNESDAY AM: The behind-the-scene drama on Sam & Cat is not subsiding. I hear the show has been put on a “permanent hiatus” a few episodes early, with everyone on the crew let go except for those working in post-production.
