Nickelodeon Renews "The Haunted Hathaways" For Second Season

Breaking Nickelodeon News! - Nickelodeon Star Amber Montana, who plays Taylor Hathaway in "The Haunted Hathaways", has just announced the very exciting Nick News in a Tweet (post) on her official Twitter profile page, @Amber_Montana, that Nickelodeon today, Monday 21st October 2013, has commissioned a second season of the networks supernatural-themed live-action comedy series, "The Haunted Hathaways"!

The news comes hot of the heels after Nickelodeon ordered six additional episodes for season one in August 2013:

UPDATE - The entertainment news website Deadline.com is reporting the fantastic news that "The Haunted Hathaways" season two will feature 22-episodes!

In its first season, "Haunted Hathaways" is drawing 2.3 million total viewers and averages a 4.0/1.3M with kids 2-11 and a 5.0/959K with kids 6-11. The series is posting 13% year-over-year gains with kids 2-11 and 6-11 in the Saturday 8:30 PM slot.

"Haunted Hathaways" is also making its season one debut on the network's international channels, including on Nickelodeon UK and Ireland, who will be debuting the show on Tuesday 5th November 2013 at 6:00pm.

"Haunted Hathaways" is executive produced by Robert Peacock, Boyce Bugliari and Jamie McLaughlin.

Following a much publicized ratings slump, Nickelodeon has been on a ratings rebound, finishing the recent third quarter up 12% vs. 2012. Since May 2013, Nick has successfully launched five new series: "Sam & Cat", "Haunted Hathaways", "Instant Mom" (on Nick at Nite), "Sanjay & Craig", and Paw Patrol. Nick’s next live-action series, "The Thundermans", premieres Saturday 2nd November 2013.
