Jim Mollica moves from an executive position in digital marketing up to Senior Vice President of Consumer Marketing, for the Nickelodeon Group. Mollica is as familiar with the multi-platform demands of iCarly, Spongebob, and Big Time Rush as a Nickelodeon executive can be, and so moves into a position to directly develop campaigns targeting all media platforms to support these and other key brands. He will report to Pam Kaufman, Chief Marketing Officer, Nickelodeon Group.

Nick UK has appointed Tim Patterson as the Vice President of Scheduling. In his new position, Patterson will be responsible for scheduling and media planning for Nick UK's linear and non-linear network activities, which include several TV channels, on-demand outlets, and related multi-platform initiatives. Patterson has recently held positions overseeing editorial operations and more for UKTV, Fox Kids UK, and Disney. According to Broadcast Now, the hire follows the departure of Nick UK programming director Debbie Macdonald, who left in December after 18 years of service.

Longtime consumer products and licensing business maven Leigh Anne Brodsky has joined the Board of Directors for JAKKS Pacific, Inc. Brodsky has more than 25 years of children's entertainment and toy industry experience under her belt, capped most recently with a thirteen-year run with Viacom/Nickelodeon. She joins the Board as a new independent member, appointed to the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and Compensation Committee. Brodsky is also currently a board member of the Children's Brain Tumor Foundation and served from 2010-2011 as an elected Board member of the Toy Industry Association.

Comedy Central has hired Brooke Posche as Vice President of Original Programming and Development (East Coast). Posche, with previous executive experience in overseeing comedy and animation elsewhere for MTV, Nickelodeon, and IFC, now takes over the development and production of all east coast-based Comedy Central original pilots and series. "Brooke has established a fantastic reputation in the comedy community for great taste, impeccable creative instincts, and superior collaborative skills," Kent Alterman Head of Original Programming and Development, Comedy Central, stated. "She will undoubtedly make me appear to be smarter than I am."
