A 'SpongeBob' Episode Just Got The LOWEST VIEWERS EVER on Nickelodeon

A SpongeBob Episode Just Got The LOWEST VIEWERS EVER on Nickelodeon | Vailskibum94

SpongeBob SquarePants has reached series low ratings on Nickelodeon. The new SpongeBob episode "Knock Knock, Who's There?" (Season 12) was a massive step down from the audience ratings that came before. What does this mean? Is SpongeBob in danger of ending?

While it may seem like these ratings are worrying for the actual SpongeBob franchise, there may also be a bigger reason behind this low number: cable TV. Streaming services like Paramount+, Netflix, Disney+ and HBO Max have been taking attention away from the linear networks, meaning more people aren't tuning in. The episode was previously released on DVD, which may have hampered ratings further. The new era of entertainment is here, and the ratings behind SpongeBob episodes are proof.

  1. Personally as much as it hurts to say this, I believe SpongeBob really IS dying and these recent results are proof of that!
