Nickelodeon Australia Launches 'Nick's Got Your Back To School' Initiative

Going back to school after the summer holidays can be a nightmare for both kids and parents. That's why Nickelodeon Australia & New Zealand has launched "Nick's Got Your Back To School", a brand new initiative which aims to relieve the stress and anxiety back-to-school season brings.

On Nickelodeon's "Nick's Got Your Back To School" minisite, nick.com.au/backtoschool, kids and parents can find a wide range of back-to-school themed activities and downloads.

In the Downloads area of the website, kids can find and download a school supply checklist to make sure everyone is ready for the new school year, as well as a weekly planner to plan their school week and a reward chart to keep track of their goals and achievements.

Knowing its not always easy to get kids talking after school, Nickelodeon has created "20 Questions", a list of 20 alternatives to asking "how was school today?" which parents can use to get things started. Parents can also download lunch box messages featuring popular Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. characters, such as SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol! (each download is in PDF format)

In the Articles of the website, parents can find knowledgeable articles about how to raise kids, including school lunches and "building kind kids".

On Nickelodeon's "Nick's Got Your Back To School" website, kids and parents can also find out how to download popular Nickelodeon apps, including Nick Play and Nick Jr. Play, and, coming soon, back-to-school themed music videos and video clips.

To celebrate the launch of Nickelodeon's "Nick's Got Your Back To School" website, Nick has launched an exclusive competition in which entrants have the chance to win one of five Nickelodeon Back to School Ultimate Tips, containing: 2 Nickelodeon message pencil packs, two Nickelodeon message pens, a Nickelodeon Thermal Drink Bottle, a Nickelodeon Desk Organiser, a Nickelodeon Stationary Kit, a Hey Arnold! Calico Library Bag, a Nickelodeon Document Sleeve, a Nickelodeon Laptop Case, a Nick Sport Bag, a Krusty Krab Lunch Bag, two RTMNT Bag Pins, a SpongeBob Smile Plush, a Bostik Blu Stik 35g, a Faber-Castell Classic Coloured Pencils 24 Pack, a Faber-Castell Connector Pens 10 Pack, StaedtlerTextsurfer Classic Highlighters, a Sharp & Digit Pocket Calculator EL-243S, and a Verbatim 16GB USA 2.0 Drive Black! To win, simply tell Nickelodeon in 25 words or less your ultimate back to school tip! Visit http://www.nickbacktoschool.com.au/win.html to enter! (terms and conditions apply)

Kids can also head to Nickelodeon's "Get Real With Your Feels!" page, in which Nickelodeon Together For Good and Kids Helpline, Australia’s only free, private and confidential 24/7 phone and online counselling service for young people, invites Aussie kids to take a special quiz about how they're feeling.
