There isn't a better time than now to start unveiling new merchandise as Netflix, the method in which the new live action adaption of the series is being brought to life, is continuing to move toward unveiling the next visit to the world of Aang and his friends in their "bending world". Seeing this "flocked" version of Appa, meaning a much younger, group oriented Sky Bison, will add another great addition to those giant fanatics of Avatar: The Last Airbender!

One of the great things about shopping at BoxLunch, aside from feeling like a kid again, is that for every $10 spent on the pop culture-themed collection, BoxLunch will provide a free meal to someone in need through its partnership with Feeding America. So if you buy tee or hat, you can feel extra good about your purchase, knowing that you helped contribute to a philanthropic cause!

Avatar: The Last Airbender aired for 61 episodes over three seasons originally on Nickelodeon, where it began in February 2005 and concluded in July 2008. The series was nominated for—and won—Annie Awards, Genesis Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and a Peabody Award. Avatar: The Last Airbender follows the adventures of the main protagonist Aang and his friends, who must save the world by defeating Fire Lord Ozai and ending the destructive war with the Fire Nation.

Michael DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko also created a follow-up series, The Legend of Korra, that returned to the world of Avatar years after Aang’s death to follow Korra, his successor as Avatar. That series ran between 2012-2014.

The stories of both Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra have continued on in graphic novel series, with a live-action adaption of the original series currently in the works at Netflix from original creators DiMartino and Konietzko, who will serve as showrunners and executive producers.

The beloved series Avatar: The Last Airbender and the follow-up series The Legend of Korra got complete series Blu-ray sets in 2018 and 2016 respectively. Back in October, they were released as part of a single set that you can grab right here on Amazon for only $58.99 (40% off). Not bad for a 17-disc set that clocks in at 2672 minutes. The Avatar set is available individually for $26.28 (42% off) and the Korra set is available for $32.99.

Paramount Home Entertainment and Nickelodeon Home Entertainment are also set to released the Avatar: The Last Airbender – The Complete Series 15th Anniversary Limited Edition Steelbook Collection on February 18, 2020.
