Nickelodeon Teen France Premieres 'Chica vampiro'

Nickelodeon Teen France today, Monday 3rd September 2018 started to premiere and show the hit Colombian teen telenovela Chica vampiro weekdays at 18:00!


Update (29/9/2019) - Nickelodeon France has acquired the remaining episodes of Chica vampiro, and now has the rights to the whole series, where it remains a benchmark of the show's genre in the country.

Chica vampiro follows the story of Daisy O'Brian (Greeicy Rendón), a normal girl who dreams of a singing career in musical comedy. However, her parents are vampires, and as per her family tradition, the decision on whether to become a vampire or not is taken when one turns 16. When she turn sixteen, Daisy decides to stay human to live next to her love, Max De La Torre (Santiago Talledo), who is her neighbor and classmate.

However, that very same day, a fatal accident changes Daisy's life forever. The doctor tells her parents, Ulises O'Brian (Juan Pablo Obregón) and Ana McLaren (Jacqueline Arenal), that she is not going to make it. So, to save her, her parents decide to bite Daisy, turning her into a vampire, making her younger brother, Vicente (Erick Torres), the only mortal in the family. From that moment on, Daisy has to lead a double life full of risks, where she must attend a human school, hiding her secret, and also go to vampire school and take classes for newly bitten vampires.


To celebrate the launch of Chica vampiro, Nickelodeon France has launched a exclusive competition (concours) in which fans can enter to win awesome Chica vampiro merchandise, including a shirt and books!


Chica vampiro is produced by RCN Television and features a original story penned by renowned Argentinian writer Marcela Citterio (Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa, Yo Soy Franky (I Am Frankie/Frankie 2.0). The series has aired aired on a selection of Nickelodeon channels around the world, including on Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica), Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland), Nickelodeon Belgium (België; Flanders), and Nickelodeon Poland (Polska).
