MGA Entertainment's "Lalaloopsy" Franchise Continues Explosive Growth On Nickelodeon And Nick Jr. Channels Globally

MGA Entertainment, the world's largest private toy company, has today, Thursday 5th June 2014, announced the exciting news in the following press release, from PR Newswire, that the company has just signed a two-year deal with Viacom to air the first two seasons of the popular "Lalaloopsy" preschool television series internationally on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. channels and networks around the world. The 52 episodes will air in territories including Germany, Russia, Benelux, Greece, Turkey, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, South Africa and Pan Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Palau, Brunei, Macau, Mongolia, South Pacific Islands, Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, Myanmar and US Military Bases). "Lalaloopsy" also currently airs on Nick Jr. UK and Ireland and Nick Jr. Australia and New Zealand.


Additionally, MGA Entertainment has also announced in the same press release below that Nick Jr. USA will start to premiere and show "Lalaloopsy" season two from Saturday 7th June 2014.

Viacom has also granted "Lalaloopsy Babies", a brand extension of the popular doll line featuring a soft body, its own TV special. The "Lalaloopsy Babies" one-hour special will air on Nick Jr. and be available on DVD in October 2014.

The Nick Jr. program was recently nominated for a 2014 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Main Title and Graphic Design.

MGA Entertainment will be revealing its most innovative Lalaloopsy brand extension to date at the 2014 Licensing Expo in in Las Vegas on Tuesday 17th June 2014.
