Nickelodeon UK And Kokomo Partner For New "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Health And Beauty Product Line

The licensing industry news website Licensing.biz is reporting the exciting Nickelodeon Consumer Products news in the following article that Kokomo, a new health and beauty company specialising in licensed children's and adult toiletries as well as home cleaning products, has secured a deal with Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products (NVCP) UK and Ireland to launch a line of health and beauty products inspired by Nickelodeon's hit "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" brand!

Work has begun on a number of product lines, including a green "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" "Bath Ooze" bubble bath formula in a special bottle based on the design of a Mutagen chemical container (pictured below), and will be available in stores across the UK from October 2013!:

Kokomo has secured a deal with Nickelodeon to launch a line of health and beauty products inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles brand.

Work has begun on a number of product lines and these will be available in stores from October.

LOVEFiLM UK Adds Nickelodeon And Nick Jr. Programming

Amazon UK has announced in the following press release, from the technology news website Engadget, that the UK version of the European online streaming video subscription service LOVEFiLM, a Amazon subsidiary, has today, Thursday 29th August 2013, added a variety of content from a range of Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) UK's channels, including Nickelodeon and Nick Jr.!


Available from today, a whole host of quality children's entertainment from Nickelodeon, one of the world's leading entertainment brands for kids and families, is available on LoveFilm. Programming includes Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award-winners "Dora The Explorer" and "Blue's Clues", BAFTA Award-winner "SpongeBob SquarePants" and a raft of other well-known characters such as "Team Umizoomi", "Bubble Guppies" and "Go Diego Go!"!

VuTV, co-owned by interactive TV specialist Strategy & Technology and video streaming operator Simplestream, and run by their joint venture Synapse TV, will launch on Freeview channel 238 in September 2013, and will enable a range of premium channels from Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), A+E Networks, and Turner Broadcasting to be watched via Freeview HD boxes, through pay-as-you-go monthly payments.

Details surrounding the monthly price packages of the channels are currently being kept under wraps, but among the first wave of channels to be made available to internet-connected Freeview HD homes are Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, Nick Jr. Channel, MTV, Comedy Central, BIO, MTV, CNN, HISTORY, H2, Crime & Investigation Network, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito.

VuTV hopes to tap into a new gap in the market presented by internet-connected televisions, by offering consumers a low-cost alternative to traditional pay-TV platforms. Unlike traditional pay-TV providers, VuTV will also offer the digital channels without any long-term contract commitments.

There are now more than 11 million Freeview homes in the UK and the number of homes with Freeview HD on their main television set is believed to be 3.53 million, and growing.

Wait, hang on un moment -- it streams over the Internet but it's for Freeview HD? Bien sur. VuTV is a collection of channels, including such televisual luminaries as Comedy Central and the History Channel, that's accessed via one channel on the Freeview guide.

You pay upfront -- VuTV hasn't said exactly how, or how much it will cost, but it has promised "a low monthly subscription with no long-term contract". The channels are delivered over the Internet to a second guide that appears when you select channel 238 on your TV, either as standard channels, or on-demand programmes.

It's an interesting model that turns Freeview into a kind of easy jump-off point to many more channels than the current spectrum has room for. The downside is you'd be flicking between different TV guides, which could be confusing, especially when you're trying to figure out what's on later.

YouView offers something similar, with channels and on-demand shows delivered over the Internet, but featuring in the same TV guide as normal Freeview channels. Seeing it all together side by side makes it really easy to use, which is a problem VuTV will have to overcome.

Premium channels

So which channels will VuTV offer? Comedy Central is probably the biggest deal, with The Daily Show, Anger Management, Big Bad World and wall-to-wall Friends. Others on offer are the sort of thing you find on the more expensive packages on Sky and Virgin: Bio, MTV, CNN, History, H2 and the Crime & Investigation Network. Kids are catered for too, with faves such as Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, Nick Jr, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito.

What's not known is how much it'll be, whether you can subscribe to individual channels, or when it launches. VuTV says there'll be more details in mid-September. I'll be right here on the edge of my seat.

Also yet to be revealed is exactly what tech you'll need. It requires Freeview HD, which comes built-in with many modern tellies, but otherwise you'll need a separate box. As it's streamed over the Internet, you'll need a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection too. It's possible in future set-top boxes and TVs will be advertised as VuTV-compatible.

Nickelodeon USA has announced in a Tweet (post) on their official Twitter profile page (@NickelodeonTV) the very exciting Nick News that Nickelodeon has ordered seven more episodes of Nickelodeon and DreamWorks Animation's brand new sketch comedy show "AwesomenessTV"!:
There's more awesomeness coming to Nickelodeon! We just ordered 7 more episodes of @AwesomenessTV!
"AwesomenessTV" (rated TV G) currently airs Monday nights at 8:00pm (ET/PT) on Nick USA. The series, hosted by Nickelodeon Star Daniella Monet ("Victorious"), is a brand new rapid-fire sketch comedy show based on the popular YouTube channel that blends new and existing AwesomenessTV content. Segments include character sketches, celebrity satires and parody music videos.


Nickelodeon originally ordered the series for 13 episodes. Nick's order for additional episodes will bring the number of episodes in season one (the shows freshman season) to a total of 20 episodes.


It is currently unknown whether the series will premiere and be shown on Nickelodeon's 40+ international channels across Europe, Latin America, Asia and Australia.

Nickelodeon UK Adds British Band The Vamps To The Nickelodeon Fruit Shoot Skills Awards 2013 Line-Up

Nickelodeon UK has announced in a series of Tweets (posts) on their official Twitter profile page (@NickelodeonUK) the very exciting Nick UK News that the new British band The Vamps will be special guests at the Nickelodeon Fruit Shoot Skills Awards 2013!

The group will be joining previously announced headliners Union J, The Luminites, and Nickelodeon Star Brad Kavanagh, who plays the character Fabian Rutter in Nickelodeon's hit mystery drama series "House of Anubis", who will be making his first musical TV performance at the awards ceremony! It is currently unknown whether the band will be performing at Nickelodeon's Fruit Shoot Skills Awards 2013 ceremony.


The Vamps are an English pop punk and indie band who formed in 2012. The band consists of Bradley Simpson (lead vocals and rhythm guitar), 18, James McVey (vocals and guitar), 19, Connor Ball (vocals and bass guitar), 17, and Tristan Evans (vocals and drums), 19. The band signed to Mercury Records in late 2012 and started to grow a fan base by supporting pop punk band McFly on their Memory Lane Tour in early 2013. The band are currently recording their debut EP, which will be released on Sunday 29th September 2013, and will also will be releasing a full album in 2014.

The entertainment news website Deadline.com is reporting the exciting Nick News that Nickelodeon has signed a deal with comedy writer-producer Andy Gordon, the creator and executive producer of Nick's popular fashion-themed sitcom "True Jackson, VP", to develop a potential brand new original comedy series called "Twang" (working title)!

"Twang" will be a 30-minute country-themed multi-camera comedy about the four semi-spoiled children of a country music star who are relocated from their privileged life in Los Angeles, California, USA, to their mother's childhood home in Leiper's Fork, Tennessee.

Gordon serves as co-executive producer on TV Land's upcoming Kirstie Alley sitcom "Kirstie". Nickelodeon Poland To Premiere New "Victorious" Season 4 Episodes Every Saturday And Sunday From 31st August 2013

The Polish television news website naziemna.info is reporting the exciting Nickelodeon Europe News that Nickelodeon Poland (also known as Nickelodeon Polska) has announced that Nick Poland will be premiering and showing brand new episodes from season four of the hit Nickelodeon original musical comedy show "Victorious", locally titled "Victoria znaczy zwycięstwo", every Saturday and Sunday at 7:45pm (19:45) from Saturday 31st August 2013 and Sunday 1st September 2013!

Although unconfirmed, it is expected that Nick Poland will premiere the series finale episode of "VICTORiOUS", "Victori-Yes", before the channel holds the Polish premiere of Nickelodeon's "iCarly" and "Victorious" spin-off series, "Sam & Cat", on Saturday 28th September 2013 at 8.10pm (20:10):
"VICTORIA ZNACZY ZWYCIĘSTWO"

Ostatni sezon przygód Victorii "Tori" już niedługo. Główna bohaterka ozdobiła swoją szkolną szafkę plakatem z napisem "Make it shine", przypominającym o jej największym marzeniu - zostaniu gwiazdą.

Po tym, jak Tori wystąpiła na dorocznym konkursie talentów jej życie zupełnie się zmieniło. Udowodniła, że ma piękny głos i wielki talent. W nagrodę dziewczyna dostaje możliwość uczęszczania do elitarnej Hollywood Arts High School - szkoły, w której uczą się utalentowane artystycznie nastolatki. Stamtąd już tylko krok do wielkiego sukcesu i spełnienia marzeń! W finałowym sezonie okaże się, czy Tori zdobędzie upragnioną sławę.

Choć serial dobiega końca, dla fanów bohaterów serialu Nickelodeon przygotował niespodziankę. Widzowie mogli śledzić losy Cat (granej przez Arianę Grande), w nowym serialu "Sam i Cat", w którym wystąpi również niepokorna Sam (Jennette McCurdy) z "iCarly".

Nickelodeon Poland To Premiere Season 1 Finale Of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "Showdown", On Sunday 3rd November 2013

Pewnego dnia Mistrz Splinter został oblany tajemniczą zieloną substancją, która zmieniła go olbrzymiego szczura, a jego cztery żółwiki - w zmutowane żółwie o niezwykłych zdolnościach.

W obawie przed prześladowaniami ze strony ludzi, Splinter wychował i szkolił żółwie na wojowników ninja w podziemiach miasta. Po latach, jego podopieczni - Leonardo, Raphael, Donatelloi Michelangelo zmienili się w silnych, pewnych siebie nastolatków, których największym pragnieniem było zobaczyć świat i zjeść ogromną pizzę!

Z mrocznych kanałów, pewnego dnia wychodzą na powierzchnię, by walczyć ze złemw niespokojnym Nowym Jorku.

W oczekiwanym finałowym odcinku Żółwie starają się odgadnąć, co knuje ich nemezis - Kraang. April zostaje porwana przez Shreddera i Mistrz Spliner musi w końcu skonfrontować się ze swoim wrogiem. Leonardo naraża swoje życie, aby ocalić braci, uratować April i powstrzymać Kraanga. Shredder używa okrutnej broni przeciw Mistrzowi - jego własnej córki Karai!

O Nicholasie Borellim (w tej roli znany z serialu iCarly Noah Munck), można powiedzieć tylko tyle, że jest spokojnym, wzorowym uczniem i grzecznym synem. Kiedy zostaje wysłany na wakacje do wujka Frankiego do Brooklynu, z daleka od nadopiekuńczych rodziców i bezpiecznego domu Nicky stara się odnaleźć w nowym, nieznanym mu środowisku.

Pewnego dnia, przez przypadek, wszyscy najwięksi gangsterzy Nowego Jorku biorą go za groźnego Nicky'ego Deuce'a, faceta który trzęsie całym miastem. Nagle okazuje się, że ten miły chłopak staje się postrachem całej okolicy.

Nicholas gets caught in the adventure of a lifetime when his plans to attend math camp go awry and he is sent to spend the summer with an uncle (played by Schirripa) he never knew he had in Brooklyn, New York. A fish out of water at first, Nicholas leans on local kids to help him fit in and winds up mistakenly earning a reputation as a tough guy. When confronted with some questionable dealings, Nicky uncovers family secrets and learns that the mean streets of Brooklyn aren't always what they seem. Gadający wąż to najlepszy przyjaciel człowieka Sanjay jest 12-letnim chłopcem pochodzenia hinduskiego, Craig natomiast to wąż, który umie mówić. The only thing that stands in their way is their unhinged, snake-phobic neighbor, Mr. Noodman (Tony Hale, "Veep", "Arrested Development"), who's always on the verge of figuring out that Craig can talk.

"Sanjay & Craig" is a brand-new, creator-driven animated series that blends a comedic and stylistic sensibility with a distinctive mix of unusual, wonderful and random humor.
