"Peppa Pig" Proves A Powerhouse Of Christmas Cheer For Nick Jr. UK And Entertainment One

The 'Media' news column of the British daily national newspaper The Times is reporting the Nickelodeon UK News that, since Nick UK and Eire's preschool channel, Nick Jr. Channel UK and Ireland, moved Nick Junior's popular animated British preschool series "Peppa Pig" to the prime timeslot of 6.00pm every day, the show's ratings have risen 50 per cent for Nick Jr. UK! Meanwhile, the mud-loving cartoon pig has also lifted the Entertainment One's revenue by 15 per cent in the first ten months of the companies financial year, and revenue at Entertainment One's TV unit surged 30 per cent, plus, sales of Peppa Pig toys surged 25 per cent above its forecasts over the Christmas period:

Sales of Peppa Pig toys surged 25 per cent above its forecasts over the Christmas period, while ratings have risen 50 per cent after Nick Jr, the channel owned by Nickelodeon Kids, moved the British cartoon to the prime slot of 6pm every day. Revenue at its TV unit surged 30 per cent.
