Nickelodeon Boy Band "Big Time Rush" Named As A Band To Look Out For In 2012

From FemaleFirst.co.uk:
Ones To Watch in 2012 - Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush have already enjoyed a super successful 2011 and that looks set to continue on into 2012.

Quite literally overnight the boys have gone from music hopefuls to poster boys for thousands of teenage girls all over the world - that's some achievement in so short a space of time.

Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena and Logan Henderson are flying high after the success of their debut record BTR - which peaked at number 3 in the Billboard 200.

The album has gone on to go gold and has so far sold 700,00 copies worldwide - as well as enjoying success here in the UK.

And the boys have been back in the studio with their second album Elevate - which has already been a hit in the U.S.

Elevate takes Big Time Rush’s distinctive sound to new heights. The songs on the album were produced by top music hit makers including Ryan Tedder, Tricky & The Dream, JR Rotem, and Toby Gad, among others.

Elevate features tracks including the first single ‘Music Sounds Better With U (featuring Mann)’, released 22nd Jan 2012, ‘Elevate’, and ‘If I Ruled The World, (featuring Iyaz)’ plus brand-new music that will debut on upcoming episodes of Big Time Rush, the top performing Nickelodeon TV series of the same name.

And as if a new album is not enough the boys will also be on the road to play their first headline tour in America.

But don't feel too left out British fans as the boys are treating us to an extra track on the UK release of the album which is titled Epic.

2012 looks set to see the Big Time Rush star soar even further as they cement themselves as recording artists as well as hitting the road for some live shows.

So watch this space ladies as they could be coming to a city near you!!

Elevate is released 30th January
