Promax Discusses the Industry’s Most Pressing Topics


Los Angeles-based entertainment marketing association Promax will hold its Virtual Experience on July 7-9, offering new opportunities for the entertainment marketing community to connect. The program features keynote conversations with CNN’s Don Lemon and NET’s Jeanine Liburd, plus panel discussions with Hulu’s Barrie Gruner, Showtime’s Puja Vohra, and Nickelodeon’s Jenny Wall, among others.

Jenny Wall is Chief Marketing Officer for Nickelodeon, responsible for all on and off-air consumer marketing, brand creative and content launches across all of the network’s platforms spanning digital, social and direct to consumer, including Nick at Nite,Nick Jr., TeenNick, Nicktoons and Noggin. Wall reports to Nickelodeon President Brian Robbins and is based in New York. Wall joins Nickelodeon from Gimlet Media, a Spotify company, where she held the position of Chief Marketing Officer overseeing all marketing and public relations at the company, in addition to overseeing Gimlet Creative, the company’s in-house advertising agency that helps brands find their voice in audio. Prior to Gimlet, Wall was Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing at Hulu where she ran all marketing, promotion and creative for the company, overseeing the launches of the some of the company’s most high-profile projects: The Mindy Project, Difficult People, the Golden Globe-nominated Casual, and the Emmy Award and Golden GlobeAward-winning series, The Handmaid’s Tale. Wall also launched Hulu’s commercial-free offering and the Hulu with Live TV bundle. Before joining Hulu, Wall was the Vice President of Marketing at Netflix, where she spearheaded new brand and launch campaigns for the company’s original programming: House of Cards, Orange is the New Black and Arrested Development. She also led creative for the launch of Netflix in the Netherlands and the Nordics. Wall also served as Chief Marketing Officer of BLT Communications, President of Crew Creative, and worked at HBO from 1995-2002. Wall began her career DDB Needham (currently DDB Worldwide Communications Group Inc.) in 1992 in Dallas,TX.
