'Henry Danger' Bags 'Outstanding Stunt Coordination' Nomination in 72nd Emmy Awards

Stunt Coordinator Vince Deadrick Jr. has been nominated for an Emmy Award in the 72nd Emmy Awards for his work on Nickelodeon's hit live-action comedy series, Henry Danger!


Nominations for the 72nd Emmy® Awards were announced today (Tuesday, July 28) recognizing a host of groundbreaking new programs and up-andcoming talent, along with beloved performers and hit shows that have been integral in helping television viewers navigate a fast-changing world.

The live ceremony, reimagined as a virtual event due to production restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, was hosted by Ghostbusters: Answer the Call & Supermarket Sweep star and Saturday Night Live alumnus Leslie Jones with presenters Laverne Cox (Inventing Anna), Josh Gad (Ghostbusters: Reunited Apart, Central Park), Tatiana Maslany (Perry Mason) and Television Academy Chairman and CEO Frank Scherma.

The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards will honor the best in United States prime time television programming from the past year, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.

The 72nd Emmy Awards will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, who also serves as executive producer for television’s biggest night. Recently announced executive producers for the telecast include Guy Carrington, Reginald Hudlin, David Jammy and Ian Stewart. The show will be broadcast, SUNDAY, SEPT. 20 (8:00-11:00 p.m. EDT/5:00-8:00 p.m. PDT), on ABC.

The 2020 Creative Arts Awards will air on FXX on Saturday, September 19 at 8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT.

Henry Danger follows the adventures of Henry Hart (Jace Norman) who gets selected by superhero Captain Man (Cooper Barnes) to be his apprentice. After promising to keep his new identity a secret, Henry must navigate a double life balancing the challenges of high school with the crazy adventures of a crime fighter. The series also stars Riele Downs as “Charlotte Page,” Sean Ryan Fox as “Jasper Dunlop,” Ella Anderson as “Piper Hart,” Michael D. Cohen as “Schwoz Schwartz,” and Jeffrey Nicholas Brown as “Jake Hart.”

Henry Danger is Nick’s longest running live-action sitcom, with 128 episodes across five seasons. For 2019 and year to date, the series is the number-one show for Kids 6-11 on all TV. Vince Deadrick Jr. served as a stunt coordinator on 57 episodes.

The series recently launched a spin-off, Danger Force.
