Colors TV UK Premieres Indian Nicktoons 'Gattu Battu' and 'Rudra Boom Chik Chik Boom'

Colors TV UK, the flagship brand of Viacom18 in the entertainment space in UK started to air Nickelodeon India's hit animated series Gattu Battu and Rudra Boom Chik Chik Boom every Sunday at 11:00am and 11:30am, respectively, on Sunday 4th August 2019, as part of the channel's new Sunday morning children's programming strand!

Rudra is a story of a nine-year-old spirited and intelligent boy who is learning magic. He lives in the magical Sun City with his grandfather Jai Singh, a supreme magician and patriarch. Always curious to learn, Rudra is being mentored by his grandfather to emerge as his successor and the greatest magician ever. The series is produced by Greengold Animation and written by Neeraj Vikram, with lyrics written by legendary Bollywood lyricist Gulzar. The series launched on Nickelodeon India in June 2018.

Gattu Battu is the story of two friends who own a security agency in a small town called Vishrampur. While Battu thinks that he is the brains behind every case to be solved, his patient and loyal friend Gattu is really the one bearing the brunt of Battu’s silly endeavors and pulling them out of troubles each time. Battu’s mindless goof-ups, coupled with Gattu’s hilarious yet brilliant cover-ups are what forms the heart and soul of this series. Joining Gattu and Battu in the series are colourful characters such as Sher Singh, Inspector Manmani, Ting-Tong, Chamach Singh and Prof. Bhatawadekar. The series launched on Nick India in May 2017.

The 11am-12pm time slot on Colors TV UK was previously dedicated to Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran.

Colors TV UK airs on Sky Channel 786, Virgin Channel 826 and Freesat Channel 662.

It is currently unknown whether Colors TV UK will also air the beloved Indian Nicktoon Motu Patlu.
