Nickelodeon UK Dives into Mental Health for Mental Health Awareness Week 2019

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week in the U.K., and to encourage viewers to talk openly about their feelings to family, friends and healthcare professionals, Nickelodeon UK has partnered with Mind, one of the biggest mental health charities in England and Wales, and will be talking about mental health with viewers and celebrities in themed Real Talk video segments, which Nick will be posting of their official social media pages on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram all this week.

In Nickelodeon's first Real Talk video, Nickelodeon's The Scoop sits down and talks to Maggie Lindemann about her new song 'Human' which is inspired by her own struggles with mental health. In the interview, Nick asks her what advice she'd give to her younger self on the subject matter.

Let's make 2019 a year of talking openly about your feelings!

Hosted by the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from Monday 13th - Sunday 19th May 2019. The theme this year is Body Image – how we think and feel about our bodies. Body image issues can affect all of us at any age. During the week the Mental Health Foundation will be publishing new research and campaigning for change.
