Are "Kenan & Kel" Teaming Up Again For Reboot?

In a day and age where reboots are becoming the norm, it’s not uncommon to see fan favorites from the ’90s get new life on the small and big screen. And that may very well be the case with one of Nickelodeon’s most popular '90s shows, Kenan & Kel!

HipHollywood caught up with Kel Mitchell, star of '90s Nick hits All That, Kenan & Kel, Good Burger, and, most recent, Game Shakers, on the orange carpet at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. Mitchell, who was there celebrating a nomination for his show Game Shakers, revealed that he could be working with his former castmate, Kenan Thompson, again.

When asked if a Kenan & Kel reboot could happen, the comedian stated, “We talked about it … We might do something like a Bad Boys type of movie.” Kel went on to profess, “That’s my homeboy, man,” before saying, “The fans want it, so we may do something.”

The Nickelodeon stars reunited for the first time in 15 years in 2015 to play tribute to two of their most beloved All That characters on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The seven-minute sketch was based on the Good Burger sketch from Nickelodeon's long-running comedy series All That. Kel reprised his bumbling fast food worker character Ed the Good Burger guy, now promoted to a supervisor role, and Kenan reprised his role of Lester Oaks, construction worker. They were joined in the sketch by Jimmy Fallon, who played Ed's colleague.

Since the reunion in 2015, Kenan and Kel have reunited a couple of times: For a Fandango commercial, and for The Splat's All That reunion.
