Nickelodeon Decides Not To Renew "100 Things To Do Before High School" For Second Season

Actor Lisa Arch, who portrayed the child-hating Principal Hader in Nickelodeon's live-action original comedy series 100 Things to Do Before High School, has announced that Nickelodeon has decided to cancel and not renew the popular sitcom for a second season. Lisa broke the unfortunate news in a Tweet on her official Twitter profile page, ‏@Flawless_Mom, confirming to a fan that the show had been "officially" cancelled.

Created by Scott Fellows (Big Time Rush), 100 Things to Do Before High School follows the comedic adventures of 12-year old CJ Martin (Isabela Moner) who always dreamed that high school would be the greatest years of her life. After her older brother Ronbie (Max Ehrich) warns her that life after middle school is not quite the teenage dream, CJ becomes more committed than ever to strengthen her friendships with her two best friends, Fenwick Frazier (Jaheem Toombs) and Christian "Crispo" Powers (Owen Joyner), before high school ruins their lives forever. Together, with the help of Mr. Roberts (Jack De Sena, All That, Avatar: The Last Airbender), Pootatuck Middle School's guidance counselor, they embark on a bucket list of adventures that help them overcome class cliques, terrifying bullies and clueless teachers. For CJ, Fenwick and Crispo growing up means trying everything and taking chances while they still can.

Scott Fellows created and executive produced Nickelodeon's hit TV series Big Time Rush, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and DHX Media's Johnny Test. Previously, he worked as a staff writer for the second, third and fourth seasons of The Fairly OddParents, and received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music and Lyrics for the show in 2003. Fellows' earlier writing credits also include episodes of Weinerville, U to U, 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd and Doug.

100 Things to Do Before High School debuted as a one-hour special on Tuesday 11th November 2014, and fully premiered on Saturday 30th May 2015. The series ran for 25 episodes over one season, with the series finale, "Get Your Heart Pre-Broken Thing!", airing Saturday 27th February 2016. The shows theme song, "Brand New Day", was performed by Isabela Moner.

Isabela Moner can next be seen in Nickelodeon's brand-new highly anticipated TV Movie Event, Legends of the Hidden Temple, which Nick USA will be premiering on Saturday, Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). Following Legends, Isabela will be starring in Transformers: The Last Knight, which will be released in June 2017, and will be voicing villain Heather in Nut Job 2. Isabela is also currently filming a new movie in New Mexico. Owen Joyner can next be seen in The Veil, where he'll be portraying 'Mountain Tribe Boy'.
