Made with Code, whose mission is to inspire girls to take their first step in code and consider computer science as a means to pursue their dream careers, debuted a tapestry of coded creations made by teen girls around the USA on stage during an empowered call to action from Priyanka Chopra and performance by Ellie Goulding of "Anything Can Happen" live at the Global Citizen Festival on Saturday, September 24th 2016 in New York City's Central Park.

The 5th annual Global Citizen Festival was also attended by coding mentors from Google's Made with Code initiative.

Priyanka Chopra said, "to quote the great Mahatma Gandhi from the land that I come from, be the change that you wish to see in the world... The girls and women that you see on screen are coding to fight inequality, increase peace, and end poverty." Earlier in the week, Made with Code gave a sneak preview of their innovative, groundbreaking on-stage integration at the Global Citizens Festival at Milk Studios in New York City, and shined a light on Chloe x Halle, supporters of Made with Code's "Change is Made with Code" campaign who use code-powered social media to champion critical issues like gender and racial equality. Chloe and Halle were joined by teen girls from the Black Girls Rock! and other local nonprofits at the event.
