Winx Club Joins The Battle Against Breast Cancer In Asia

Original Kilogrammedia Press Release via Licensing World:

Winx Club Joins The Battle Against Breast Cancer!

Rainbow – the leading animation studio behind the smash-hit Winx Club brand – has teamed up with the Pink Ribbon Wellness Foundation in Malaysia and the Breast Cancer Foundation in Singapore to support the campaign to prevent breast cancer.

The long-term partnerships will see Winx Club promote the breast health message through a host of activities, which will include advertising campaigns and an exclusive range of merchandise. The Winx fairies themselves will also be involved, making appearances at special events aimed at both mums and daughters.

All activities are dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer prevention and include local events across both Malaysia and Singapore. Kids will connect with the message and encourage mums to check their breasts and potentially stop cancer in its tracks

The huge profile of Winx Club, which reaches millions of girls from 4 to 10 right up to tween/teen, will ensure that mums across the region see and connect with the vital message of Pink Ribbon and the Breast Cancer Foundation.

"Winx Club is all about promoting and supporting positive values so we are delighted to be helping the hugely important work of these two organisations," says Ms Joanne Lee, CEO of Rainbow Internazionale. "Winx Club is incredibly popular with kids and by reaching them we in turn reach mums with the message about breast cancer prevention."
