It's Friday Night At The Movies On Nickelodeon UK In November 2013 With Nick Flicks

Make an appointment with your friends and family, reserve the best spot on your sofa and grab some popcorn, Nickelodeon UK, the number one commercial kids TV network in the UK, has announced in the following Press Release, that every Friday evening during November 2013 is movie night on Nick, as Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK launches a brand new "Nick Flicks" movie programming slot!


The weekly event features two brand-new Nickelodeon Original TV Movies, "Swindle" and "Nicky Deuce", and the much loved favourites "Fred 3: Camp Fred" and "House of Anubis" - "The Touchstone of Ra"!

Nickelodeon UK's film season kicks off in style with the Nickelodeon all-stars teaming up for the first time ever in brand-new "Swindle", premiering Friday 1st November 2013 at 6:30pm. The 90-minute comedy caper features Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande from "Sam & Cat", Noah Crawford and Chris O'Neal from "How to Rock" and "You Gotta See This", Ciara Bravo from "Big Time Rush", and "iCarly"'s Noah Munck.

In "Swindle", an evil collector cons wheeler-dealer Griffin (Crawford) out of a million dollar baseball card that could have saved his best friend's (O'Neal) home, so he unites a ragtag group of his classmates (McCurdy, Grande, Bravo and Munck) to take down the swindler. It's a valiant adventure that will take them through daring heists, crazy disguises and a pie fight face-off – but throughout it all, the kids have to bring their skills together as a team to get justice.

Later in the month, the brand new original Nickelodeon TV movie "Nicky Deuce" premieres on Friday 22nd November 2013 at 6:30pm. Featuring an impressive cast including Noah Munck ("iCarly"'s Gibby), as well as "The Sopranos" stars Steve Schirripa, Michael Imperioli, Vincent Curatola, Tony Sirico and the late, great, James Gandolfini, "Nicky Deuce", based on a popular children's book by Steve Schirripa and Charles Fleming, sees Nicholas Borelli II (Munck), an over-protected teen, become a fish out of water when he gets caught in the adventure of a lifetime when his plans to attend math camp go awry and he is sent to spend the summer with an uncle (Schirripa). Nicholas leans on local kids to help him fit in and winds up mistakenly earning a reputation as a tough guy. When confronted with some questionable dealings, Nicky uncovers family secrets and learns that the mean streets of Brooklyn aren't always what they seem. "Nicky Deuce" also stars actor Cassius Crieghtney ("Degrassi: The Next Generation") and actress Rita Moreno ("Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?").

In "Fred 3: Camp Fred", school's out for the summer and the fast-talking, hyper teenager "Fred Figglehorn" is headed to camp! In Fred 3: Camp Fred, Fred's mom (Siobhan Fallon Hogan) enrolls him in the world's worst summer camp - the dilapidated Camp Iwannapeepee. Fred is miserable until he meets a motley group of campers who teach him what camp is really about – making new friends. Together, Fred and his new friends, "Magoo" (Joey Bragg), "Dig" (Adrian Kali Turner, "Bad Teacher", "The Walking Dead"), "Spoon" (Leah Lewis), and "Chatter" (Matthew Scott Miller), are determined to muster up the strength and confidence to beat their rivals at the nearby posh Camp Superior in the annual Summer Camp Games. Based on one of the most popular internet characters of all time, the third installment of the hit TV movie franchise also features Tom Arnold as Floyd the camp director, WWE Superstar John Cena as Fred's imaginary dad, Charlie Carver ("Desperate Housewives") as Hugh Thompson the resident jock, Daniella Monet ("Victorious") as Fred's sassy best friend Bertha, Jake Weary ("As the World Turns") and Carlos Knight ("Supah Ninjas") as Fred's rivals. "Fred 3: Camp Fred" is executive produced by Brian Robbins of Varsity Pictures, Michael Green, Gary Binkow and Evan Weiss of The Collective, and Lucas Cruikshank. The movie is written by Drew Hancock ("Supah Ninjas", "FRED: THE SHOW") and directed by Jonathan Judge ("FRED: THE SHOW", "Big Time Rush"). "Fred 3: Camp Fred" airs on Friday 8th November 2013 at 6:30pm.

Rounding off the month on Friday 29th November 2013 at 6:30pm is the "House of Anubis" movie, "The Touchstone of Ra". In TSoR, the residents of Anubis House are nearing the end of their final term when their celebratory mood is cut short after a group of underclassman unexpectedly move into Anubis house, and a trip to an Egyptian museum leaves the group with a strange stone in hand. The Sibunas are confronted with their greatest challenge yet as they set out to decipher the secrets behind the touchstone of the ancient Egyptian god, Ra. As the power of the stone begins to cause chaos, it's up to leader Eddie Miller (Burkely Duffield) and the Sibunas to solve the mystery before it's too late. As the mystery unfolds, the Sibunas learn that not everyone is as they seem, and there’s only one among them who can save them from the powers of the stone. The special will feature Anubis favourites Eddie Miller / Edison Sweet (Burkely Duffield), KT Rush / Kara Tatianna (Alexandra Shipp), Fabian Rutter (Brad Kavanagh), Alfie Lewis (Alex Sawyer), Patricia Williamson (Jade Ramsey), Mara Jaffray (Tasie Lawrence), Jerome Clarke (Eugene Simon), Joy Mercer (Klariza Clayton), Willow Jenks (Louisa Connolly-Burnham) and introduces newcomers Sophia (Claudia Jessie), Dexter (Jake Davis), Erin (Kae Alexander) and Cassie (Roxy Fitzgerald).

The weekly event features two brand-new, Nickelodeon, original TV movies Swindle and Nicky Deuce and the much-loved favourites Fred 3: Camp Fred and The Touchstone of Ra.
