Nickelodeon UK Still To Set A Premiere Date For The New Animated Nickelodeon Show "The Legend Of Korra"

Nickelodeon UK and Ireland have announced on their official Twitter profile page (@NickelodeonUK) the Nickelodeon News that Nickelodeon UK have still got to set a launch and premiere date for Nickelodeon's brand new original animated series (Nicktoon) "The Legend of Korra" in Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK's schedules:
Had a few questions about Legend of Korra... ... no news on a UK premiere date yet but I'll announce on here when I know :)
UPDATE: Nickelodeon UK has announced in a email to Tumblr user 'airspeedprime' that the reason why they have not yet set a official premiere date for "The Legend of Korra" is because they knew that there would be quite a big gap on Nickelodeon USA between the first and second parts of the series. As Nick UK wants to reduce the wait as much as possible for Nickelodeon's UK fans, they feel it's best to wait so that there isn't such a big gap between both parts for Nickelodeon UK viewers:
Unfortunately we still don’t have an official release date just yet - at the moment we think that it should be in early 2013. Although we never like to keep fans waiting for a show, in the case of The Legend of Korra we knew that there would be quite a big gap in America between the first and second parts of the series, so we wanted to reduce that as much as possible for our UK fans.

[...]

Not too much longer, though, we promise. We hope you’ll enjoy the series and will find it worth the wait. :)

Although Nick UK still has to set a debut date for the brand new original animated Nickelodeon series "Legend of Korra", as previously reported on NickALive!, Nickelodeon And Viacom Consumer Products UK have started to release "The Legend of Korra" merchandise in the UK, starting with the brand new "The Legend of Korra" paperback book called "Revolution", which is published by Random House Books for Young Readers and was released in the UK and Ireland on Tuesday 8th January 2013.

"The Legend of Korra" takes place 70 years after the events of Avatar: The Last Airbender and follows the next Avatar after Aang – a girl named Korra (Janet Varney) who is from the Southern Water Tribe. With three of the four elements under her belt (Earth, Water and Fire), Korra seeks to master Air. Her quest leads her to Republic City, the modern “Avatar” world that is a virtual melting pot where benders and non-benders from all nations live and thrive. Korra quickly discovers that the metropolis is plagued by crime as well as a growing anti-bending revolution that threatens to rip the city apart. Under the tutelage of Aang’s son, Tenzin (J.K. Simmons), Korra begins her airbending training while dealing with the dangers at large.
