Nickelodeon Star Drake Bell Announced As A Contestant On ABC's Upcoming Brand New Reality TV Series "Splash"

The entertainment news website Digital Spy is reporting the TV news in the following article that the North American commercial broadcasting television network ABC (which stands for American Broadcasting Company) has announced the news that Nickelodeon Star Drake Bell ("The Amanda Show", "Drake & Josh", "A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!", "A Fairly Odd Christmas") will be a star in their brand new diving contest series called "Splash" USA, the North American version of the reality television show. The competition - formerly known as "Celebrity Diving" - focuses on ten famous faces as they are trained in diving by the sport's legend Greg Louganis. The UK commercial public service TV channel recently aired the British version of the competition, which starred British diver Tom Daley as a mentor to the celebrity competitors taking part. In the US version of "Splash", Nick Star Drake Bell will be joined by ten more celebrities, including American television personality, businesswoman, glamour model and author Kendra Wilkinson, comedians Louie Anderson and Chuy Bravo, actresses Nicole Eggert ("Baywatch") and Keshia Knight Pulliam ("The Cosby Show"), NFL star Ndamukong Suh and Miss Alabama USA Katherine Webb. The stars - who will be joined by two more celebrities, to be named at a later date - will be asked to perform synchronised dives in pairs as well as perform flips and spins from the 10m high dive. They will be judged by gold medallist David Boudia and the USA Dive Team's director Steve Foley when ABC premieres "Splash" on Tuesday 19th March 2013. Good luck, Drake!!:

Kendra Wilkinson is among the stars who will take part in ABC's new show Splash.

The competition - formerly known as Celebrity Diving - focuses on ten famous faces as they are trained in diving by the sport's legend Greg Louganis.

ABC has now named eight of the ten cast members who will be participating in the series.

Former The Girls Next Door star Wilkinson will join comedians Louie Anderson and Chuy Bravo, who is best known for his role as Chelsea Handler's sidekick on Chelsea Lately.

Baywatch actress Nicole Eggert, Nickelodeon star Drake Bell and The Cosby Show's Keshia Knight Pulliam are also among the cast, which is rounded out by NFL star Ndamukong Suh and Miss Alabama USA Katherine Webb.

The stars - who will be joined by two more celebrities, to be named at a later date - will be asked to perform synchronised dives in pairs as well as perform flips and spins from the 10m high dive.

Training the celebs will be the world's more decorated and medaled diving legend, Greg Louganis. The judges tasked with critiquing the stunts are London Olympic U.S. Gold medalist David Boudia and Australian Olympic athlete and USA Dive Team director Steve Foley.

Splash premiers Tuesday, March 19 on ABC.
