Nickelodeon Acquires Broadcast Rights To Studio Aka's BAFTA Award-Winning Half-Hour-Animated Movie "Lost And Found" For UK, USA And Australia

According to the below Nickelodeon News articles, Nickelodeon has picked up the broadcast rights to the BAFTA Award-winning half-hour animated movie "Lost and Found" for Nickelodeon UK and Ireland, Nickelodeon USA and Nickelodeon Australia & New Zealand, and will premiere on Nick US, and shown Nick Australia and New Zealand and Nick UK's preschool channel, Nick Jr. UK and Ireland, during December 2012, as part of Nickelodeon's Christmas programming line-ups. Nick Jr. UK previously premiered "Lost and Found", which is based on the international best-selling children's book by Oliver Jeffers and is produced by Studio Aka, and tells the story of a little boy who finds a penguin on his doorstep and sets out to take him home - all the way to the South Pole, in December 2009. Nickelodeon has bought the rights to Bafta award-winning cartoon Lost and Found from distributor Entertainment One Family.

Nickelodeon will premier the Studio AKA-produced film (1x30′) in the US this month and will also air it in Australia and the UK.

Based on a best-selling children’s book by Oliver Jeffers, Lost and Found tells the story of a boy who finds a penguin on his doorstep, and then attempts to help it back to its home in the South Pole.

Kids' TV station Nickelodeon has struck a deal with Entertainment One to air Lost and Found.

The BAFTA Award-winning half-hour animated film will premiere on Nickelodeon in December in the US, and will air on its channels in Australia and the UK, too.

Lost and Found is based on the international best-selling children's book by Oliver Jeffers and is produced by Studio Aka. It tells the story of a little boy who finds a penguin on his doorstep and sets out to take him home - all the way to the South Pole.
