Popular Animated Nickelodeon Shows Deliver Great TV Ratings For The Spanish Children's Channel 'Clan'

This week, Eurodata TV has provided [Kidscreen] with the ratings for the top-five program broadcasts with kids four to 12 in Spain between May 7 and June 3, 2012.

The top-five programs are:

1. SpongeBob SquarePants, CLAN (May 7, 6.5% rating, 23.4% share)

2. The Simpsons, Antena 3 (May 15, 6.2% rating, 30.8% share)

3. The Penguins of Madagascar, CLAN (May 22, 6.1% rating, 20.7% share)

4. Peppa Pig, CLAN (May 12, 6% rating, 27% share)

5. Phineas and Ferb, Disney Channel (May 26, 5.3% rating, 26.9% share)

"Clan" is children's TV channel from the Spanish public service broadcaster TVE that broadcasts 24 hours a day. TVE recently picked up the Spanish free-to-air broadcasting rights for Nickelodeon's brand new CGI-animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" television series, where they hope to premiere Nickelodeon's new TMNT series on Clan from May 2013.
